摘要

The Front Cover shows the synthesis of the new π-extended triazacoronene derivatives containing three peri-benzopyrano extensions from triphenylene triamine and a salicylaldehyde derivative in a one-pot reaction. The structures of these π-extended triazacoronene derivatives were unambiguously confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. One typical compound shows a sandwich-type π-trimer in the crystalline state, and there are strong intermolecular π–π stacking interactions between the two different layers of the π-trimer.
