摘要

In article number 1703934, Dan Li, Hong Chen, and co-workers report a novel thrombolytic coating whose activity is triggered by thrombosis. The coated surfaces remain inert in normal plasma environment while releasing tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) and promoting fibrinolysis in response to thrombin. Such coating could avoid unfavorable complications caused by continuous release of antithrombotic agents.
