摘要

Strategies to tune thermal transport in conducting polymers are proposed by Dong Wang and co-workers in article number 1702847. Molecular dynamics simulations show that rationally tailoring the chain length and the crystallinity dramatically suppresses the lattice thermal conductivity along the polymer backbone. As a consequence, one order-of-magnitude increase in the thermoelectric figure of merit is achieved.
