摘要
Nitrogen-doped graphene nanoribbons (N-GNRs) with surface enriched active sites are configured via chemical unzipping of carbon nanotubes coupled with nitrogen doping process. Benefiting from fully exposed active sites and quaternary N species revealed by density functional theory, N-GNRs as the counter electrode for I3− reduction deliver an efficiency of 8.57% and superb electrochemical stability, indicative of great potential alternatives to Pt.
