摘要

A CO-regulated ion nanochannel, inspired by the activity of CO-induced smooth muscle vasodilation, is demonstrated on page 10780 by J. Zhai, L. C. Gao and co-workers. The mechanism relies on the fact that CO has higher affinity with ferroporphyrin compared to carboxyl groups on the nanochannel surface.
