摘要
A polycyclic conjugated hydrocarbon (PCH1) containing four contiguous heptagons was synthesized by Juan Casado, Junzhi Liu et al. in their Communication (e202217124). The four contiguous heptagons form a Z shape in the central π-electron skeleton, giving PCH1 a butterfly-shaped conformation.
