Near-Infrared Aggregation-Induced Emission Ferroptosis Molecule

A near-infrared (NIR) aggregation-induced emission ferroptosis molecule (TBTP-Au) is first designed by introducing Au(I) active center. The self-assembled TBTP-Au nanoparticles with targeted modification display superior NIR imaging performance to monitor the blood-brain barrier penetration of nanoparticles. The controlled release of TBTP-Au specifically activate the effective heme oxygenase-1-regulated ferroptosis to greatly prolong the survival of glioma-bearing mice.
