摘要

We substantiate the potential to utilize mechanical energy to piezocatalytically convert CO2 into C2 products, which is unprecedented. Tin(II) monosulfide (SnS) nanobelts served as piezocatalysts for the first time to convert CO2 into acetate under periodic ultrasonic waves, achieving 100 % selectivity and a yield up to 2.21 mM h−1, which is the highest among reported studies.
