摘要

The electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) emerges as an alternative approach for N2fixation at ambient conditions. Although many noble‐metal‐based catalysts have been explored, there is still a lack of high‐efficiency noble‐metal‐free catalysts. In their Communication on page 6073 ff., G. Yu, G. Chen et al. report an amorphous noble‐metal‐free hybrid catalyst with high NH3 yield and Faradaic efficiency. Such a hybrid catalyst enables effective N2 adsorption and charge transfer for the NRR process.
