A flexible chiral plasmonic film composed of asymmetrical 3D “S-liked” assembly of plasmonic nanoparticles is achieved, facilitated by mechanically induced surface wrinkling of the elastic polymeric substrate. The structure exhibits a strong circular dichroism (CD) response up to 2.5 degrees and a g-factor of 0.11in NIR region, along with dynamically modulated CD properties, including switchable CD handedness and tunable intensity.
