Endometrial Injury Treatment

A hydrogel self-assembled from a peptide IVK8-RGD consisting of an ionic complementary peptide sequence IEVEIRVK and a bioactive sequence RGD is used to encapsulate umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs). This UC-MSCs-loaded hydrogel, characterized by its injectability and adhesive properties, is capable of repairing the damaged endometrium, showing great promise for treating recurrent miscarriage and infertility induced by endometrial damage.
